| Course description: Basic concepts and subject of study. Historical overview of standardization and norms. Standardization bodies and regulations
(ISO, CEN and HZN). Postal standardization technical committees. The process of formation and structure of the norm. Review
and division of postal norms. HRN EN 13850, mandatory and informative parts. Implementation of the standard (actual postal
flow study, geographical stratification, measurement design, weighting and statistical methods). Reporting and audit. Other
norms relating to the time of transmission of postal items from end to end. HRN EN 14012 Compulsory and informative parts.
Implementation of the standard. Reporting and audit. Other standards related to customer service quality. Standards relating
to postal technology and hybrid mail.
