Course description: Port specialization. Terminals - conceptual meaning and types of terminals. Liquid cargo terminals. Container Terminals. Ro-Ro terminals. Dry Bulk Terminals. Terminals for barges. Dangerous Goods Terminals. Specifying specific parameters for terminal planning. Other terminals (heavy cargo terminals, timber and timber products terminals, etc.). Passenger terminals. Technological characteristics of the terminal in function of distribution center and distribution center. Port terminal planning. Development plans for Croatian river and sea ports.
