Course description: Terms and scope of road telematics. Automatic control of the traffic process. Network stratification and topology. Distributed dynamic control in space and time. Management algorithms. Telematic systems in the function of the persons with special needs. Models for evaluating application efficiency. Maintenance of systems, equipment and traffic technology functions. Application of knowledge in the field of telematics and automation of traffic processes in solving (designing) current traffic problems in practice at facilities in operation (in Croatia and beyond). Application of expert software (Intelligent SW for traffic experts - PT V VISSIM, LISA +, SYNCHRO, HUTSIM, HCS, SCOOT, SPOT, MATRIX, ...) to improve flow at intersections and road network.
