Course description: Historical development of cable cars; subdivisions and types of cable cars and funiculars; the role, importance and importance
of the cableway transport system; the use of cableways from a traffic and geographical point of view; cableways in the world
and in the Republic of Croatia; technical and technological characteristics of cableways; conditions for safe operation of
cableways; cableway legislation; exploitation and maintenance of cable cars and cable cars; technical designs of cableways;
infrastructure facilities and installations; transportation capabilities, capacity and mass serving theory; development of
new systems.
