Course description: Logistics functions in transport, production, trade and other economic sectors. Structure of logistics systems. Area delimitation of logistics systems. Functional delimitation of logistics systems. Principles and basic concepts of system theory. Logistics business organization. Phases of production logistics development. Justification and risk of investing in logistics systems. Logistic performance indicators. Logistic performance as decision support. Mathematical methods for solving transport problems in logistics systems.
