Course description: Basic concepts and axioms of the statistics of rigid bodies. Force. Action of forces on one point. Effect of force on a rigid body. Static moment of force. Principle of moments. A pair of forces. Graphostatic. Conditions of equilibrium of forces (graphically and mathematically). Center of gravity. Friction (sliding, rolling and friction of rope over stationary roller). Unbended supports. Grating supports. Mechanics of deformable bodies. Analysis of deformations and strain. Mohr's circle. Geometric features of a surface. Axial load. Shear. Torsion. Bending. Deflection. Complex load. Basic kinematic concepts. Basic dynamic concepts.
