Course description: The aim of the course is to gain experience in and insight into the activities of legal entities that employ university bachelors in traffic / aeronautics. The choice of a legal entity to perform a traineeship should be announced in advance and agreed with the head of the traineeship for a particular field at the faculty. The traineeship allows the student to combine the theoretical knowledge and practical experience; it helps the student to understand and develop business responsibility (careful and responsible performance of defined tasks, disciplined, business-responsible behavior), to develop communication skills and teamwork; to adapt to the work environment; to find / specify the topic for the undergraduate thesis; to orientate towards future employment and acquire the first recommendations that can facilitate a future employment. During the traineeship, the student should get acquainted with the organization and functioning of the legal entity in which the traineeship is performed, with the work system and operations of appropriate organizational units and the specific organizational unit in which the student will perform most of the traineeship and work on specific jobs and tasks supervised by a mentor in a legal entity. Specific organizational unit activities should correspond with the knowledge that the student acquires in his field of study or have enough commonalities with the professional courses that the student takes in his field of study. A part-time student, who is employed, may be exempt from the traineeship on the basis of the employer's certificate of employment, which he is obliged to submit to the student service when regulating his status.
