Course description: Radiocommunications: theoretical basics, radiocommunication system. Multiple access techniques (FDMA, TDMA, CDMA, SDMA, OFDMA).
Spread spectrum systems (DSSS, FHSS). Radio waves: frequency spectrum, propagation properties, propagation models. Antennas:
parameters, antennas in mobile communication systems, adaptive antennas. Mobile radiocommunications: system generations, network
structure. Planning of radio segment of GSM network (technical aspects, traffic aspects), development of mobile communication
systems, newer generations. Wireless access networks, protocols. Location-based services. Satellite communication systems,
terminals. Radio relay systems. Electromagnetic compatibility, influence of electromagnetic field, administration of frequency
spectrum, standards.
