Course description: Introduction to Law. Introduction to the state and state institutions. Foundations of European Union and EU regulations. International agreements and air transport organizations: Chicago Convention (agreements and annexes to the convention). Market liberalization and ECAA. Freedoms of the Air. The Montreal Conventions, The Tokyo Convention, The Hague Convention. International Air Transport Organizations (ICAO, ECAC, JAA, EUROCONTROL, EASA, IATA). Airworthiness of aircraft. Nationality of aircraft registration mark. Aircraft rights. Licensing activities. Aviation staff permits and licenses. Aviation regulations. Air traffic safety and security rules. Liability of the air carrier for damages in domestic and international air transport. Air passenger rights.
