Course description: Introduction in operations research. Operations research in traffic. Linear programming. Numerical solving of LP problems. Air traffic tasks and linear programming. Post-optimal analysis. Transport and distribution problems. Cost minimization, time minimization. Basic concepts of graph theory. The matrix interpretation of the graph. Extreme routes on the network. Extreme flows on the network. Assignation problem: pilot schedule and routes as 0-1 programming. Overview of methods: nonlinear programming, integer programming, dynamic programming.
