Course description: Characteristics of basic flying on a complex airplane. Pre-stall flight and spin. Basic acrobatic flying. Imitation of forced
landing. The traffic pattern. Non-routine procedures. Complex acrobatic flying. Navigation at low and medium altitudes. Dead
reckoning navigation. Radio-navigation. Loss and establishment of orientation. Emergency procedures. Features of formation
flying on a complex plane. Inertia assessment maneuvers, joining formation, tactical maneuvers. Features of instrument flying
on a complex airplane. Knowledge and use of aviation instrument charts. Illusions in flight and how to prevent them. Procedural
flying and overflights. The properties of night flying on a complex plane. Regular and emergency procedures for flying at
night. Specific features of visual orientation and formation flying at night. Special-purpose flight. Organization of flying
on a test field. Searching the terrain. Reconnoisance of point objects and lines of communication. Object marking and guidance
from the ground and from the air.
