Course description: Elements of basic daytime flying in VMC conditions. Routine and emergency procedures, organization and operation of flight at the base airport, organization of search and rescue service, landing on unprepared surfaces. Specific features of helicopter navigation. Use of radio navigation and satellite equipment. Low altitude and nap-of-the-earth flight navigation. Helicopter formation flying. Formation flying in the two- and four-helicopter complement. Formation flight as part of a pair with landing on unprepared surfaces. Formation flying organization and management. Fundamentals of instrument flying in a helicopter. Features of night flying on a helicopter. Non-aerodrome landing and take-off at night. Regular and emergency procedures at night. Organization of search and rescue service at night. Advanced Instrument Flying Procedures. Organization and management of instrument flying at the base airport.
