Course description: Analysis of the causes of mechanical vibration of transport vehicles and the consequences of their effect on the stability of the vehicle's movement, on the structural material of the vehicle structure, on the man and the load in the vehicle, and on the condition of the substrate and the environment around which the vehicles move. The concept of mechanical vibrations and the reason for their occurrence. Types of mechanical vibration. Mechanical vibration energy and the way it is transmitted through the structure of transport vehicles and into the environment. Types of mechanical vibration damping. Analytical description of free damped vibrations. Analytical description of forced vibrations. Occurrence of tremor and resonance in transport vehicles. Dynamic vibration factor and phase shift. Vector vibration analysis. Dynamic models of transport vehicles for the analysis of their oscillatory behaviour. The inherent frequency of individual elements of the construction of transport vehicles. Analytical and statistical description of vibrational excitation of means of transport vehicles. Sensitivity of the human body to mechanical vibration and noise. A method of regulating the magnitudes of the vibration amplitudes, depending on the permissible durability of the material and the permissible dynamic loads of the transport vehicle assembly in terms of the stability of their movement, the condition of the loads and the people in them.
