Course description: Exploitation - technical characteristics of vehicles related to movement, reliability and performance. Towing dynamics of
the vehicle. Analysis of characteristic movement modes. Indicators of vehicle dynamics in uniform movement. Dynamic factor.
Dynamic indicators of uneven movement: acceleration, dynamic climbing, overtaking, inertia motion. Braking dynamics of the
vehicle. Distribution of braking forces on axles. The parabola of the ideal distribution of braking forces. Brake force regulators:
correctors and ABS devices. Types, performances and exploitation characteristics. Fuel economy. Fuel consumption equation.
Analytical and experimental determination of fuel economy characteristics. Method of nominating fuel consumption. Manageability.
Steering wheel angles as a measure of vehicle quality versus of manageability. Analysis of longitudinal and transverse stability
in straight and curved motion. Braking stability. Vehicle walking softness. The oscillatory movement of the vehicle as a criterion
for soft walking. Patency. Measurement of patency. High pass ability vehicles.
