Course description: The graduate thesis is a comprehensive and exhaustive assignment in the field of transport technology/ITS and logistics/aeronautics.
During the writing of the thesis a candidate must demonstrate the ability to analyze a given problem from a theoretical and
practical point of view. The candidate must employ the knowledge acquired in different subjects and available professional
publications. The candidate is expected to demonstrate the ability to independently consult additional sources relating to
the thesis topic. The mentor will provide assistance in the form of well thought-out and structured questions and suggestions
for further activities relating to the writing of the thesis. The results of the carried out analysis and the suggested solutions
have to be delivered by the candidate both in writing and presented during thesis defense.
A thesis mentor can
be any member of the teaching staff who meets the mentor requirements listed in the Regulations on undergraduate and graduate
exams (Pravilnik o završnim i diplomskim ispitima).
