Course description: Electronic measuring and control systems, open and closed measuring systems. Functional blocks of measuring systems. Static dynamic characteristics of measuring systems. Input output characteristics, system errors, calibration and linearization. Distortion of output signals. Sensors and measuring transducers. Contact-free measuring. Application of micro-processors in measuring transducers. Linking of measuring transducer with computers. Measuring automation. Measuring systems for measuring large number of data. Traffic parameters measurements. Interface between humans and flexible and intelligent systems. Remote control system structure, control levels. Local and remote control. SCADA system concept. Elements of the SCADA system.
