Course description: Regulatory framework on passenger and baggage handling. Flight preparation, passengers' registration, seat assignment, boarding priority, reservation status and types of passengers. Transportation documents. Classification of passengers. Transport procedures for: unaccompanied minors, INCAP passengers, VIP passengers, FF passengers, groups, mass transport of children, inadmissible passengers and deportees. Transit and transfer passenger handling. Types of baggage, restriction on acceptance of baggage, access baggage. Handling procedure of pets in cabin. Handling of bulky, fragile and valuable baggage in cabin. Handling of diplomatic baggage and weapons in cabin. Types of baggage tags. Passenger and baggage irregularities. New trends in passenger and baggage handling procedures.
