Course description: Basic philatelic terms. History of mail and philately. Postage stamp concept and function. National and international legislation. Design of postage stamp. Other philatelic units. The educational, entertainment and commercial goals of philately. Collection, storage and exchange of postage stamps. Stamp Market. Philatelic accessories and sheets. The work of national and international philatelic associations. Postal Museums.
