Course description: Aircraft instruments fundamentals, systematization and standardization. Data measurements and indications, telemetry, synchronous transmission systems. Sensors and transductors. Air data measurements and instruments. Air data telemetry, ADC. Gyroscopic instruments and systems. Heading measurements, direct (DRC) and remote (RIC) reading compasses. Giromagnetic compass. Radionavigation indicators and displays. Aircraft engine and fuel system instruments. Integrated displays and systems. Monitoring, maintenance, alerting and recording systems.
