Department of Aeronautics (ZAN) of the Faculty of Transport and Traffic Sciences participated at the ESCAPE L\u0131ght for Academia and R&D Workshop from 27th till 30th January 2020 organised by EUROCONTROL Experimental Centre at Br\u00e9tigny-sur-Orge near Paris. The workshop was organised as a training for current and future users of the ESCAPE Light air traffic control simulator that will be used for training and research activities. This simulator enables the most of the important and sophisticated features necessary to provide air traffic control.<\/p>\n

The Faculty was represented by Associate Professor Biljana Juri\u010di\u0107, Assistant Professors Karolina Kraj\u010dek Nikoli\u0107 and Tomislav Radi\u0161i\u0107 and teaching assistants Petar Andra\u0161i and Tea Rogo\u0161i\u0107. The Faculty team had an opportunity to learn about the simulator hardware and software components and simulator structure. During this year, at least two more workshops for airspace design and data preparation are to be held.<\/p>\n
