On Monday, May 23, 2022, two Croatian media outlets, HRT and RTL aired in their regular news programmes Dnevnik and RTL Danas interesting news reports on air traffic controller training and employment prospects. In preparation for the reports the reporters from both HRT and RTL had visited the Department of Aeronautics and the Laboratory for Air Traffic Control. Both news reports featured short statements from the Head of the Department of Aeronautics Biljana Juri\u010di\u0107, PhD, the Head of the Laboratory for Air Traffic Control Bruno Antulov-Fantulin, PhD, and the Faculty of Transport and Traffic Sciences\u2019 long-time associate Mr. \u017deljko Ore\u0161ki. The emphasis in both reports was on interviews with the undergraduate students of aeronautics which they gave during their air traffic control simulator exercises.<\/p>\n
