Lee"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>On<strong> Tuesday, March 12, 2024, at 9:00 AM<\/strong>, Captain James R. Lee will be visiting the Department of Aeronautics. He will give a presentation on his career, pilot training, and the \u201cThreat and Error Management\u201d (TEM) and \u201cCrew Resource Management\u201d (CRM) models, as well as CPDLC and ADSB-B\/C systems and their practical applications. The presentation will also cover how AI can enhance safety in aviation. Additionally, Captain Lee will discuss recent incidents involving JAL 516 and Alaska 1282 and how analysing accidents can improve safety.<\/p>\n<p>Captain James R. Lee graduated in applied mathematics and served as a pilot in the United States Coast Guard on the HC-130H aircraft. Currently, he is a captain on the A350 aircraft. Since 1996, he has been working for Delta Air Lines, accumulating over 20,000 flight hours on various aircraft such as B727, MD88, MD90, B737, B757, B767, B717, and CS100. Captain Lee is the chief instructor and examiner for various aircraft types and is also the main member of Delta\u2019s ASAP ERC team. ASAP \u2013 Aviation Safety Action Program \u2013 is an error reporting system in aviation companies, which enables the employees to report errors without fear of facing disciplinary action.<\/p>\n<p>Attendance at the lecture is mandatory for all first-year students of the undergraduate study program of Aeronautics, and all other students are welcome to attend the presentation.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Location: ZUK Borongaj, building 69, Amphitheater<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Date and Time: March 13, 2024, 9:00 AM \u2013 11:00 AM<\/strong><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>On Tuesday, March 12, 2024, at 9:00 AM, Captain James R.
