This prestigious recognition is a testament to their dedication, knowledge, and excellence in scientific research.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Their work, titled\u00a0<strong>\u201cDevelopment of a YOLO model for drone detection in thermal images,\u201d<\/strong>\u00a0was conducted at the\u00a0<strong>Department of Aeronautics<\/strong>\u00a0under the mentorship of\u00a0<a href=\"ttps:\/\/www.researchgate.net\/profile\/Tomislav-Radisic\"><strong>assoc. prof. dr. sc. By combining visual and thermal datasets collected using drones equipped with dual cameras, the team developed a model capable of detecting UAVs even in low-visibility conditions such as night, fog, or smoke.
