Analizirat \u0107e se postoje\u0107a istra\u017eivanja i primijenjene metodologije. Izvori informiranja mogu biti vezani za infrastrukturu i za vozila. Posebni izazov predstavlja razmjena informacija u okviru primjene kooperativnog pristupa u prometu. Osim tehni\u010dko-tehnolo\u0161kog aspekta, va\u017eno podru\u010dje istra\u017eivanja je i psihologija voza\u010da kod prihva\u0107anja ovih poruka. Tako na primjer, kada su ispitane razli\u010dite kombinacije upozorenja na mokru cestu, zaklju\u010deno je da se spremnost za po\u0161tivanje ograni\u010denja brzine pove\u0107ava kada je prikazano zajedno sa znakom koji opravdava ograni\u010denje brzine. Voza\u010di \u017eele da se razlog ograni\u010denja brzine objasni posebnom porukom\/znakom upozorenja. Neki od klju\u010dnih problema istaknutih u podacima WHO-a uklju\u010duju:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Zapanjuju\u0107a statistika da 1,3 milijuna ljudi svake godine izgubi \u017eivot u prometnim nesre\u0107ama, \u0161to ih \u010dini vode\u0107im uzrokom smrti me\u0111u mladim ljudima u dobi od 15 do 29 godina.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Financijski u\u010dinak prometnih nesre\u0107a koje u prosjeku ko\u0161taju 3% bruto doma\u0107eg proizvoda zemlje i mogu sprije\u010diti gospodarski razvoj.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Nerazmjeran broj ranjivih sudionika u prometu, kao \u0161to su pje\u0161aci, biciklisti i motociklisti, koji su nerazmjerno pogo\u0111eni prometnim nesre\u0107ama, zbog njihove neza\u0161ti\u0107enosti u slu\u010daju sudara.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>\u010cinjenica da se 93% svih smrtnih slu\u010dajeva na cestama doga\u0111a u zemljama s niskim i srednjim prihodima, unato\u010d tome \u0161to te zemlje imaju samo 60% svjetskih vozila, \u0161to ukazuje na to da tim zemljama nedostaje ista razina cestovne infrastrukture i propisa kao u bogatijim zemljama.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Ozljede u prometu vode\u0107i su uzrok smrti djece i mladih u dobi od 5 do 29 godina.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Sli\u010dni rezultati su i u Republici Hrvatskoj.
