Department members of Intelligent Transport Systems prof. Ton\u010di Cari\u0107, assistant Kre\u0161imir Ku\u0161i\u0107, Young researcher Leo Ti\u0161ljari\u0107 and student Mladen Mileti\u0107 participated in the 4th Int’l Summer School on Data Science<\/a>. School is traditionally organized by the Center of Research Excellence for Data Science and Advanced Cooperative Systems.<\/a> The school was held from 9th to 13th of September 2019 in the city of Split, Croatia on the Faculty of Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering and Naval Architecture, University of Split. The topic of the summer school was \u201eStatistical methods for data science\u201c. The program included hands-on sessions, demonstrating practical aspects. Along with excellent lecturers from Croatia and abroad, the school was attended by students, researchers, and experts from academia and companies.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Joint work of department members was presented on poster session with the title \u201e Reducing the State Action Complexity in Reinforcement Learning based Traffic Light Control using Self Organizing Maps \u201c and authors Mladen Mileti\u0107, Kre\u0161imir Ku\u0161i\u0107, Martin Greguri\u0107, Edouard Ivanjko<\/p>\n\n\n\n
