In the SILab group laboratory (HES-SO, Valais Wallis) under the mentorship of Professor Ren\u00e9 Schumann, colleague Ku\u0161i\u0107 developed the Digital Twin (digital twin) of the Geneva motorway section synchronized (in real-time) with traffic data collected in real-time from traffic counters. In order to promote digital twin technology in transport systems and to emphasize the importance of open data sets that are updated in real-time (Open data platform mobility Switzerland) and microscopic traffic models, the motorway model made in SUMO simulator and source code are publicly available at the SUMO website <a href=\"https:\/\/sumo.dlr.de\/docs\/Data\/Scenarios.html\">https:\/\/sumo.dlr.de\/docs\/Data\/Scenarios.html<\/a> under the title <strong>Geneva &#8211; Digital Twin &#8211; Geneva Motorway (DT-GM)<\/strong>.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Dear colleagues, we are honored to announce the new results of our colleague Kre\u0161imir Ku\u0161i\u0107 from the department of Intelligent Transport Systems, who is currently in Switzerland on longer mobility.
