The paper is freely available in&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/traffic.fpz.hr\/index.php\/PROMTT\/article\/view\/4073\">Open Access<\/a>&nbsp;with&nbsp;<strong>DOI: https:\/\/doi.org\/10.7307\/ptt.v34i4.4073<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This paper was written in the co-authorship of students Josip Milo\u0161, Patrik Hr\u0161ak, Nikola Topi\u0107, and Leon Jak\u0161i\u0107, and Ph.D. students Kre\u0161imir Ku\u0161i\u0107 and Filip Vrbani\u0107, and assoc. prof. Edouard Ivanjko.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In this study, we perform the analysis of different VSL zones lengths and their positions by using a closed-loop Simple Proportional Speed Controller for VSL (SPSC-VSL).
