The conference will include a special session on\u00a0Intelligent Transport Systems held by Associate Professor Sadko Mand\u017euka, PhD (<a href=\"mailto:smandzuka@fpz.hr\">smandzuka@fpz.hr<\/a>) and Assistant Professor Mario Mu\u0161tra, PhD (<a href=\"mailto:mmustra@fpz.hr\">mmustra@fpz.hr<\/a>). Some of the goals in ITS, which need to be achieved and serve as general topics for this special session, are:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Development road infrastructure for ITS application<\/li>\n<li>Integration of vehicle navigation and communication systems<\/li>\n<li>Usage of smart routing algorithms<\/li>\n<li>Improving efficiency of logistic services<\/li>\n<li>Cooperative systems for Smart Cities<\/li>\n<li>Design and implementation of sensors and sensor networks<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The call for papers is available\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.elmar-zadar.org\/2018\/resources\/ELMAR_2018_SS1.pdf\">here<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Peer-reviewed papers representing original previously unpublished work that are accepted and presented at the Conference will be included in IEEExplore.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The 60th\u00a0International Symposium Electronics in Marine (ELMAR-2018), the oldest conference in Europe, will traditionally be held in the beautiful old town Zadar on the Croatian Adriatic coast.
