Registration is now open for Hackathon #2 of the Engage 2 initiative, which will take place in Zagreb on 20–21 October 2026.
This technical hackathon is organised by Engage 2 in collaboration with the DIALOG and AWARE projects, bringing together participants interested in aviation, air traffic management, data science, artificial intelligence, software development, and digital innovation.
The event will provide a dynamic environment for participants to work on complex operational challenges through rapid prototyping, collaborative coding, and cross-disciplinary teamwork.
By encouraging innovation, practical problem-solving, and knowledge exchange, the hackathon will contribute to the development of new ideas and solutions for the future of aviation and air traffic management.
Participants may apply individually or as part of a team of 2 to 4 members. Individual participants will be matched with other participants during the event.
The registration deadline is 7 September 2026 at 23:59 CET.
The winning team will receive the Airspace World 2027 Pack, which includes a trip to Airspace World 2027 in Lisbon, partial travel cost reimbursement, vouchers for each team member, and participation in additional programme activities during Airspace World 2027.More information about the programme, participation rules, eligibility criteria, and registration form is available
