Maja Tonec Vrančić, M.Eng.

Maja Tonec Vrančić was born on 07.12.1986 in Sisak, where she finished primary school, after which she finished high school in Petrinja. In 2006, she enrolled in undergraduate and then graduate studies at the Faculty of Transport Sciences in Zagreb, majoring in Intelligent Transport Systems. She completed graduate studies in 2012 by defending her thesis “Research on the Acceptance of the eCall System in the Republic of Croatia”. After graduating, she was employed as a senior professional associate at the Department of Civil Engineering of the City of Sisak, where she remained for the next 6 years. In January 2019, she was elected to the associate title of assistant at the Institute for Intelligent Transport Systems of the Faculty of Transport Sciences. She is engaged in teaching the courses Fundamentals of Transport Engineering, Introduction to Intelligent Transport Systems, Intelligent Transport Systems I, Intelligent Passenger and Driver Information Systems, and Operations Research.
