Teaching Activity

Overview

Students have the opportunity to learn in a dynamic and stimulating environment where knowledge is gained not only through lectures but also through practical work on real-world challenges. The curriculum provides a comprehensive insight into the needs of intelligent transportation systems, covering architecture, software solutions, and management processes. Depending on their interests, students can develop into ITS systems engineers or ITS software engineers.

What sets us apart in teaching

Learning-by-doing

  • Learning through lectures combined with practical work on real problems
  • Emphasis on connecting theory with practice
  • Courses Project 1 and Project 2
  • Pioneers of the learning-by-doing concept at the Faculty
  • Students work in small teams under the mentorship of faculty
  • Development of concrete solutions applicable in the real world

Comprehensive view of ITS systems

  • Coverage of architecture, software support, and ITS system management
  • Understanding the interconnections of various subsystems

Industry collaboration

  • Special partnership with Ericsson Nikola Tesla within the Data Science Laboratory
  • Project collaborations with Ericsson Nikola Tesla, Mobilisis, Intis, WhyAI, Manšped, Bugatti Rimac, and others
