Course description:
Ensure the competencies of students (knowledge, information and skills) by formal education required for ergonomic assessment of the traffic and work environment in the system “human – transport means – traffic environment”, for achieving the humane and economical work of drivers and other traffic participants, during the management of the existing and/or design of new traffic and transport processes, through teamwork with colleagues from civil and mechanical engineering. Ergonomic assessment using identification, evaluation, modification and/or elimination of factors of disturbance from the system with several concurrent factors from the traffic and working environment, based on the adopted methods of calculation, models, algorithms, and procedures for analyses, and based on the calculation of parameters with numerical values to evaluate the impact of individual factors of ergonomic assessment, which are factors of subjective disturbance from cognitive perceptions of drivers and other traffic participants.
Students should have a basic knowledge of descriptive statistics prior to enrolling in the course.
