Course description:
The course aims to introduce students to the principles of technological processes in railway stations and to ensure the competencies of students (knowledge, information and skills) required for understanding of train and shunting operations in railway stations.
At the end of the course students will be able to:

  1. Define the basic terms related to technological processes in railway stations
  2. Understand the principles of all types of technological processes in railway stations
  3. Make conclusions based on analysis of train and shunting operations in railway stations
  4. Explain an impact of station technological processes on railway timetable planning
