Safeguarding international civil aviation against acts of unlawful interference. Definitions and general principles. Organization. Preventive security measures related to aircraft, passengers and their cabin baggage, hold baggage, cargo, mail and other goods, special categories of passengers, landside and cyber threats.Management of response to acts of unlawful interference.
Training (exercises) includes familiarization with mandatory documents in air traffic, international and local regulations which comprise organization, flight preparation and flying with a particular emphasis on air traffic security and facilitation.
Students should have basic knowledge in airport areas (ICAO Annex 14).
