Općenito
Od utemeljenja Zavoda za inteligentne transportne sustave postignut je zapažen uspjeh u radu njegovih djelatnika koji se ogleda u sljedećem:
- Utemeljenje grane ITS-a i logistike u znanstvenom polju Tehnologija prometa i transport
- Pokrenut prvi preddiplomski i diplomski studij ITS-a u Europi (usklađen prema bolonjskom procesu)
- Izdan sveučilišni udžbenik: Inteligentni transportni sustavi I
- Uspostavljeni Laboratorij za ITS i Laboratorij za znanost o podacima
- Organizirano nekoliko znanstveno stručnih skupova (CETSI, ITS Forum, itd.)
- Pozvana predavanja u inozemstvu
- Utemeljena Udruga ITS Hrvatska – članica europske mreže ITS udruga
- Istraživačkim i razvojnim projektima i objavama znanstvenih radova.
