On 18 June 2026, 22 second-year undergraduate students of the Air Traffic study programme visited the Croatian Civil Aviation Agency (CCAA), accompanied by assist. prof. Melita Milenković.
They were received by CCAA director Ana Kapetanović, deputy director Dejan Grahovac, aviation inspector Aleksandra Perković, and Melita Sobota from the Department of Legal Affairs, Human Resources and Registry.
During the lecture held at the Agency, students gained insight into the regulatory, supervisory and legal aspects of the Agency's work and its role in the civil aviation system. Particular attention was given to certification and licensing procedures and risk assessment methodology, with special emphasis placed on the protection and safety of air traffic.
The visit underlined the importance of cooperation between the University of Zagreb Faculty of Transport and Traffic Sciences and the CCAA, with both parties looking forward to continuing their collaboration and knowledge exchange in the future.
