Urban transport program
Beginning with the fifth semester of undergraduate studies and the first semester of graduate studies, Urban transport curricula are designed to provide the student with the necessary breadth of professional education. By earning the undergraduate or graduate degree, the candidates gain competencies and qualifications that enable them to achieve the highest personal and professional standards in the field of traffic and transport technology. By completing the undergraduate studies and acquiring 180 ECTS credits, students gain skills in:
- analyzing urban transport systems in cities by applying the acquired knowledge and solving engineering problems of medium complexity
- conducting independent field research to collect data using appropriate laboratory equipment and systematic analysis of field data
- identifying and applying appropriate professional methods and digital tools in analyzing, planning, and designing urban systems and organizing transportation processes
- team work and the ability to present the results of research and analysis.
By completing the graduate studies and acquiring 120 ECTS credits, students gain skills in:
- analyzing urban transport systems in cities by applying the acquired knowledge and solving engineering problems of the highest complexity
- understanding and applying basic scientific principles and engineering methods
- applying current innovative methods in solving urban mobility problems using analytical methods, simulations, and traffic modeling
- independently managing transport technology projects of the highest complexity, organizing and integrating transportation processes in city traffic
- leading and managing interdisciplinary teams of experts
- communicating with the domestic and international professional community.
