From July 1 to July 3, 2024, members of the Department of Information and Communication Traffic, Prof. Dr. Dragan Peraković and Assistant Prof. Dr. Ivan Cvitić, participated in a series of meetings and events in Dublin, Ireland. These events were organized by IrelandQCI and PETRUS with the aim of coordinating and implementing national EuroQCI projects. The meetings brought together numerous representatives from various national bodies and members of the PETRUS working groups (ETWG), including Dr. Peraković and Dr. Cvitić. The primary goal of their participation was to attend an event that serves as a key platform for exchanging knowledge and experiences among leading experts in the field of quantum communications. As members of the PETRUS working groups, the aforementioned members of the Department of Information and Communication Traffic actively participated in workshops and discussions on strategic development, sustainability, standardization, interoperability, and the architecture of national QCI projects. This event also provided an opportunity to enhance international cooperation and gain a better understanding of the current challenges and practices in quantum communications, which is crucial for the successful implementation of the CroQCI project.
