The members of the Department of Information and Communication Traffic, Prof Dragan Peraković and Assist. prof. Ivan Cvitić presented the Croatian Quantum Communication Infrastructure - CroQCI at the THECUC 2023 conference. The CroQCI project aims to implement experimental quantum communication systems and networks to create a highly secure communication environment for the European Union as part of the EuroQCI initiative.
The THECUC 2023 - Digital Transformation of Higher Education: Innovations for the Future of Learning & Teaching conference was organized by the Croatian Academic and Research Network - CARNET and gathered more than 500 different participants.
The Digital Transformation of Higher Education: Innovations for the Future of Learning & Teaching conference (THECUC2023) was organised by Croatian Academic and Research Network – CARNET, as part of the e-Universities project, which aims to transform higher education in Croatia through the implementation and development of digital teaching infrastructure, digital tools, and competences. The conference was held in Vodice from November 8-10, 2023.
Some elements of the CroQCI project, along with the members of the Department of Information and Communication Traffic, were presented by Matko Mužević, Ph. D., Marija Emšo and Dunja Ivković from CARNET, Davor Jovanović from the University Computing Center and Martin Lončarić, Ph. D. from the Ruđer Bošković Institute.
CARNET Users Conference has been a central event for sharing knowledge, experience, and good practices related to technology, education, and public policy in Croatia and the region for the last 24 years. The primary objective of THECUC2023 is to foster connections and collaborative efforts among various stakeholders in higher education, including policy-makers, management, teachers, administrators, and IT staff, with the aim of sharing knowledge and constructing knowledge together.
