Instructions on the bachelor’s thesis topic assignment and production

In the academic year 2024/2025, the Committee for bachelor and master theses will meet on:

• 12 November 2024
• 11 February 2025
• 15 April 2025
• 20 May 2025 (the topics that have been returned for revision)

Bachelor’s thesis topic registration for the Committee meeting in November 2024.

Students are eligible to register their topics for the Committee meeting in November if:

• they were enrolled in the bachelor"s thesis course but have not registered their topic in the academic year 2023/2024, or
• they are enrolled in no more than two (2) courses in the winter term of the academic year 2024/2025 and no courses in the summer term (other than the bachelor"s thesis course).

Students must submit Bachelor’s thesis application, signed by the mentor, to the e-mail address referada@fpz.unizg.hr until 29 October 2024 until 1 p.m.

Bachelor’s thesis topic registration for the Committee meeting in April 2025.

Students enrolling in the bachelor’s thesis course for the first time in the academic year 2024/2025 and students re-enrolling without meeting the requirements for registration in November 2024, can register their topics from 10 March to 24 March 2025 through ISVU Studomat.

Students must submit Bachelor’s thesis application, signed by the mentor, to the e-mail address referada@fpz.unizg.hr until 2 April 2025 until 1 p.m.

Important: When submitting the Bachelor’s thesis application, the email MUST be entitled: Bachelor’s thesis topic registration, and a cc MUST be sent to the mentor. The attachement must be entitled MBAG_Application_bachelor"s_thesis_Surname_ Name_Concentration.

Students must submit the final version of the thesis and the Certificate in electronic format (PDF; thesis file must be entitled "student ID number.pdf", and the Certificate file "certificate_student ID number.pdf") to the e-mail address referadaiknjiznica@fpz.unizg.hr (from their Faculty e-mail  studentIDnumber@fpz.hr) no later than 8 days before the thesis defence date.

Important: To ensure that all the requirements for the completion of studies are met and the thesis is produced and submitted correctly, students should follow the Instructions for registering, producing, and defending the bachelor’s and master’s theses throughout the process of registering, producing, and submitting the thesis. The Committee recommends e-mailing the thesis, written in accordance with the Instructions, to the mentor for review no later than 30 working days before the preferred defence date.

Before submitting the final version of the thesis and the Confirmation (from the student"s Faculty e-mail address, e.g., studentIDnumber@fpz.hr) to the e-mail address referadaiknjiznica@fpz.unizg.hr and a CC to the mentor, students must return all the materials borrowed from the Library of the Faculty of Transport and Traffic Sciences.
