Transfer to the undergraduate studies at the Faculty is only possible from university study programmes that incorporate appropriate disciplines required by the study programme/direction the student is transferring to. The number of transferring students is limited by the capacity of the Faculty. Transferring students pay the full tuition fee for the transfer year, and in the following years the portion of the tuition covered by the transferring student is calculated in the same way as for other students, the tuition model in force applies to all students equally.
Students who are approved for transfer to the Faculty can transfer their ECTS credits, but only the courses that are comparable with the equivalent courses thought at the Faculty will be accepted while others must be retaken.
Students can only transfer during the regular enrolment period in September. Transfer requests can be submitted to the Student Administration Office from mid-June to the end of August.
Transfer requests are evaluated and approved by the Committee for Teaching, e-learning and Students. After consulting with the course teachers, the Committee will issue a transfer approval decision authorizing the enrolment and stating which courses completed at the other institution are accepted for transfer to the Faculty. To enrol in the second year of undergraduate studies, students must be authorized to transfer at least 35 ECTS credits earned at the other institution.
When submitting the Transfer request (available at the bottom of the page), transferring students should attach:
Students who do not meet the criteria for enrolment in the following year of study re-enrol in the same year of study.
Students who transfer after the first year of study without meeting the second-year requirements, unless they are transferring from another study program at the Faculty, can only enrol in one of the study programmes at the Faculty through regular enrolment procedure by applying on time and acquiring the right to enrol through regular procedure. Such students can transfer credits for courses completed at the other institution if they are comparable in scope and programme with the equivalent courses thought at the Faculty.
Exceptionally, students can be approved for transfer even when they not meet the general conditions in case of severe illness, family relocating, obligations as a professional athlete, or on other reasonable grounds.
Transferring students must enrol by the end of the enrolment period, or eight days after receiving the transfer approval decision.
Students are allowed to change their study programme or direction once during the undergraduate studies. Students can only transfer during the regular enrolment period in September. Transfer requests can be submitted to the Student Administration Office from mid-June to the end of August.
Such transfer requests are evaluated and approved by the Committee for Teaching, e-learning and Students, with the approval of the chairs of the division and department the student is transferring to.
The chairs of the division and department the student is transferring to must also perform the determination of course equivalencies to ascertain which admission prerequisites the student must meet.
Students who change their study programme or direction at the Faculty enrol in the year of study for which they have met the criteria in the programme or direction they are transferring from. They must enrol in all the prerequisite courses in that same year.
Students need to submit a completed Transfer request and the payment slip to the Student Administration Office. The costs of the transfer approval procedure are determined by the Faculty cost list.
